David Akrish has an extensive background in Chinese Herbal Medicine and has been co-founder, with his wife Teah, of Heaven & Earth Chinese Medicine Herbal Center since 2000. He is known as a clinical herbalist who works on extremely health issues utilizing multiple, complex formulations. He also has an extensive background in emergency medicine as both a firefighter and paramedic.

In addition to being a Chinese Herbalist, and after well over 5 consistent decades of training, studying and teaching in over 40 different martial arts systems, David has founded Black Dragon Modern Combat.

Black Dragon Modern Combat is a one-of-a-kind system that has evolved into close-quarter-combat self-defense. It is based on five, separate concepts only found within the teachings: Sacred Geometry, Sacred Numerology, Planetary Movements, Laws & Physics and the movement of the Black Dragon.

David believes self-protection, awareness and preparedness is a missing link in modern society and is here to disrupt the fake world of traditional martial arts.
